whew, i finally have a chance to sit down and update!! since i don't normally have busy days, i've decided to assign myself some projects to work on. today, i finished a bulletin board here in the church that is "The 5 W's of The Pilgrimage" and basically goes over the who, what, when, where, and why of people coming to The Pilgrimage. it's a way of reaching out and connecting with church people. or so i tell myself. ;) it took me almost 3 hours to do this, and i seriously think i am high off of rubber cement fumes. and not in a good way. in a naseous way. yuck.
since i've been so busy, let me tell you about the past few days as well...
Tuesday i went straight from work to George's house to see him since he got back from London that afternoon. we totally coincidentally got each other matching souvenirs from our respective trips: he brought me a model of a double decker bus from London and i brought him a model of a colorful Dominican bus/van thing. it was cute. he also got me a shot glass that says "Mind the Gap" which is so great! last night i had to work late since i had a group that was supposed to arrive at 7. at 7:30, the leader showed up and said that their luggage had been lost, so the rest of the group would not be arriving for quite some time. luckily, i went over all the details with her and then i left. when i got home, i watched Maryland beat Duke in an AWESOME game!!! the Wizards also won, and Stevie Blake played for the first time this season, so maybe one of these days we'll get around to seeing him play. tonight, Kymmy is coming over and i am cooking again! *gasp* i know, i know, but it's only spaghetti again. the new season of The Apprentice is on, so hopefully that will be fun to watch!
