It peeves me
Jan. 31st, 2006 03:59 pmI know that different people pronouce words differently. I am ok with this. G and I have many a fun conversation regarding the words we say that sound weird to each other. HOWEVER. The three year old teacher prounouces two words wrong that I feel is not good, since the kiddos are learning things from her.
The words are "mittens" and "buttons."
She prounounces them "mih-ins" and "buh-ins."
It hurts my ears.
