neebsI finally had a low-keyish weekend. Which I have been desperately needing!
Friday was a busy day at work for me. I had things to do, then lunch with David. G came by earlier than he was originally planning so we walked from here down to GWU for an ice cream cone, then over to the White House before we realized that I had to be back for an Orientation, so we better find dinner. We ended up at a Chipotle which was SO FREAKING GOOD, even though I didn't think I really wanted it originally. After my Orientation, we were meeting V and friends at a club about 6 blocks away for V's birthday...but they were running super late. So G and I hung around in my office reading (him textbook, me trash book) until we decided to head over. Luckily, the pouring down rain had stopped, so we didn't get totally drenched. Since I had cute shoes on, we drove around looking for parking and with my karma, we found a spot less than a block away. We had fun at the club for a while, but once the lame-ass club techno crap came on, I got a huge headache from the bass line and the insect noise (I swear, that's what it sounded like) so we left.
Saturday I slept in and did NOTHING!!!!!!! Actually, that's not totally true...I did laundry, cleaned my room, organized my financial stuffs, downloaded pics off my computer and watched a lot of tv. But other than that...it was all relaxing! I headed over to G's house and we went up to Baltimore to see his mom for dinner, which was fun. We stoppped at Giant on the way home to buy brownie mix and made that for dessert, which was so good!
Sunday I met my mom and dad at church, then mom and I went shopping. I got Harry Potter 4 on DVD (YAY!!!!!!!), burnable cd's, hangers, and my prescription. When we got home, dad and I worked on the crossword puzzle and then the three of us walked around the yard looking at all their pretty landscaping stuff. Oh, and we talked about my sister because she is a brat and never comes home. ;) (This is a JOKE, Jes. I am JUST KIDDING. Do NOT get offended!) After that I went for a run and almost made it 2 miles. This was a Big Deal for me and I feel very accomplished. After that mom and dad left for dinner and I jumped in the shower before youth group. It was Parent Appreciation Night, so we had a pizza party with the parents and kids. Chris showed up, which was surprising, and we had a fun time talking with him afterwards. I headed home and watched the end of The Italian Job with Kym and Tania and then we watched a repeat Gray's Anatomy that neither Tania nor I had seen. (There was this one scene where this woman's heart bursts into flames while they are performing open heart surgery on her...and she doesn't die. Woah.) I talked to G pretty late, then went to bed.
I have been pretty busy so far today and this week is only going to stay as busy as this. I will be out until next Wed. or Thurs. so I have to not only get everything done for this week, but next week as well. Eep. Oh, and I am the only church representative here today. Lovely.

Also, I saw that Gray's Anatomy episode too. Do you know how someone's heart could catch on fire? I didn't get that. But then I almost died cracking up when her husband was like, "Let me get this straight... her heart caught on fire... during her FIFTH open-heart surgery.... and she SURVIVED it." And then he flipped out and was cracking up and just left. That was hilarious.
