My week is almost done
Mar. 23rd, 2006 03:44 pmI've been busy these past few days...
Monday G picked me up from work and we went into Georgetown for dinner and hanging out. We stopped by Sports Zone and I found HOT PINK trimmed New Balances...and the biggest size they carried was a 10 1/2. I am a SOLID 11, so that was a no go. BOO that.
Tuesday I was a hard worker at work, then went home and was even busier. I dusted, vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom, made and ate dinner, worked on my art project, put all my clothes away, filed all my paperwork, ripped 3 CD's, burned 5 CD's, watched TV, read a book, and talked to the boy before I went to bed exhausted.
Wednesday I took off for a doctor's appointment in Annapolis. The nurse was quite unfriendly. After the appointment and the hassle of getting the next one that day (which didn't work, so I'll be off tomorrow, too) Mom and I went majorly shopping. We went to Home Goods, where I got hot pink mixing bowls, pretty candle holders, and two serving bowls because I don't have ANY. Then it was off to Chick-fil-A for lunch, which was excellent. Khol's was up next for dressed to wear for the weddings, but we struck out. I did get a pair of jeans, a pair of capris, a skirt, a shirt, a belt, four pairs of socks and a pair of pink shoes, though, so that was all good. After that, it was off to Victoria's Secret for, well, secret stuff. ;) Then we went to Deb and I found my two wedding dresses. The one for the September wedding in Philly is spaghetti straps, black with white polka dots and a white lace trim around the waist. The one for CA is SO California!! It's coraly/tangeriney and is a halter dress with a flouncy skirt that just screamed Cali to me. I love it!! We also found gorgeous prom dresses, so we called Katie to come over and look and when she got there, we had about 12 picked out for her. She didn't find one that fit her right, though, so we will need to make a second trip. Possibly Friday, depending on how I feel.
Today was busy and eventful, but David had to cancel lunch, so I had some extra time to get stuff done. Holy smokes, I can't believe it's already 4:00. Crazy. My mom's bday is tomorrow so I will be frantically trying to finish my art project tonight before I go back to their house, but that probably won't happen. Too bad. I have an appointment in Annapolis at 10 tomorrow morning, so I'm headed back to mom and dad's house so I can sleep in a little later than I would otherwise.
