While we were in Vegas, I finished "Watership Down" that I had borrowed from Chris. When I first picked up the book, I thought to myself "A book about bunnies? What the heck kind of book is this? It probably won't be very good, but I don't have any books right now, so I guess I'll take it."
Well. This book proved me wrong.
I LOVED IT. I think it's one of the best books I've ever read. And the only part that made me cry was the very last sentence. (I think that might be because I read the preface and I knew a father told this story to his daughter's, so I had some idea of how things would work out in the end.) There were parts of the action that were so...so....heart pounding, I guess I would say, that I literally skipped ahead until I got to the resolution of the matter.
I would STRONGLY reccommend this book to everyone.

I think alot of people have that one book they can revisit every few years and enjoy just as much as the first time they read it. Watership Down is surely mine.
