Call me a bleeding heart liberal, but I was sorrier for the mouse. I know what the inside of a fire feels like, so anyone who throws a living being onto one goes into my bad book immediately.
Having come out on the losing end of a battle with a grease fire (skin grafts! wheee!), I'm inclined to sympathize with poor Mouse.
You're drmellow's bro, right? I've been meaning to ask to friend you. You're funny. Also, as per one of your New Year's resolutions: I've been scuba'ing for years, and it has failed to even become dangerous even once. Disappointing, as a sport that's supposed to threaten to kill me, but hey. I just wanted to look at the fishies.
I'm the doc's brother. Feel free to friend me, but I'll probably friend you back. I used to dive and it wasn't very dangerous (except that one dive that should have ended with me dead). Just don't tell any of my friends that scuba isn't dangerous. They really look up to me for being so adventurous and brave. Some times it seems that I am the light of their world and the reason they continue to exist. They don't realize you just go underwater and "look at the fishies".

This is a VERY important ideal for them, and must be maintained. I shall hereafter endeavor only to tell the diving stories of my Navy SEAL dive instructor, and how he almost died like a million times when he was cave diving. *nodnod* So very dangerous.
I guess I should have said "not only" was there a homeless man in NM... I was rooting for the mouse, too.
I pretend to be a staunch conservative (it's part of my steely, indifferent facade), but I frequently disappoint the Doctor in this category. Which is why we don't have that many political discussions at home.
