Back from the fun

neebsI have decided that I am going to Chicago every Labor Day weekend because I just have that much fun.
Thursday night I headed to Cohoon's house and met up with him, Orlando, Enizzy, Joey, and G. We played pool and ate pizza and everyone made fun of me. It was good times!
Friday G came to meet me at my mom and dad's house and I took him out for a yummy breakfast. Then mom and dad took me and Rach to the airport. We got to Kelly's and had dinner and chilled and talked. Rach went to bed early and Kelly and I stayed up talking for hours. THAT was good times.
Saturday the three of us ladies headed into downtown Chicago. We went to Millenium Park, saw nifty stuff there, and saw the lake. Then we headed for lunch, then over to the Hancock Building. We did some shopping on the way, then went up the Hancock Building for an amazing view of the city and some $10 martinis. After that we headed back to Kelly's for homemade dinner, then got all slutted up to go out dancing. We had a fun time dancing and I saw one of the Bulls players. Not sure which one. Sorry!
Sunday we took it easy and headed back downtown to watch "The Wedding Crashers." I am sad that my office is cut out of the scenes at our church. =( But it was still cool to see the church there! Then we went for real Chicago pizza for dinner, which was ok. The sauce goes on top, but that's the worst part for me, so I wasn't thrilled with it. After that we went to Navy Pier and did some souvenier shopping, rode the Ferris Wheel, split a funnel cake, and then watched the fireworks. We got home and I fell asleep on the air mattress while Kel and Rach watched Shawshank Redemption.
Monday was more chilling and taking it easy before we headed to the airport. Dad picked me up and we headed home where Jes was waiting for me before she left to go back to school. On my way home I stopped at G's house to see him and give him the souvenier magnet I found for him.
Today is going easy. Not a ton of stuff to do, but I got a ton of personal stuff done. (Balanced my checkbook, paid bills, bought meds online for cheaper than at the stores, etc.) I am tired, though, so I think I will be calling it an early night!
