Meme fun!!!
Jun. 8th, 2005 11:35 amHere are 5 songs I'm currently digging:
1. Kelly Clarkson: Since U Been Gone. I LOVE this song!! Especially the second verse, I like the way she sounds when she sings "how come I never hear you say 'I just wanna be with you'." Actually, G's sister just burned me her Breakaway cd and it is my new favorite music of choice. So fun and upbeat and wild and dance-able.
2. Will Smith: Switch. It's just so fun. How can you not like the beat?
3. Destiny's Child: Girl. I liked the song before I saw the music video, and then I saw the video and it's based on Sex and the City, which is my FAVORITE, so that made me like it all the more. I really like the beat and the harmony. I didn't used to be a DC fan, but I really like their newest album.
4. Baby Bash/Akon: Baby I'm Back. It's a good hip-hop beat. It's another one that makes me bop along in my car and get funny looks from people in other cars.
5. Anna Nalick: Breathe (2am). This is a non hip-hop/teenybopper song. Well, I guess it's kinda teenybopperish, but it's not an upbeat tune. She's relatively new on the scene and this is her first released single, I think. I like the way it sounds like it's not in a major key.
I'm don't know 5 people on LJ who haven't already been tagged, so I'm gonna break the chain here. I know, I know, I suck, get over it. =P
Instead, I'll do my 5 runners up:
Rob Thomas: Lonely No More
Black Eyed Peas: Don't Mess With my Heart
Trick Daddy/Ludacris: Sugar
Usher: Caught Up
50 Cent: Love It or Hate It
