neebsMost of yesterday was a great day. We are working on redoing our website here at work, and I am in charge of revamping most of the wording that we have and figuring it all out, which I am really excited about. Yes, I realize this makes me a big geek, and I am ok with that. George met me here around 6ish, then we headed up to Chipotle to grab some dinner and then it was off to the game.
The Wizards were playing really well against the Pistons for the first 3 quarters. We were actually ahead, and looking good. AND the best part is: STEVIE GOT TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!!! That's right, I got to see Steve Blake for the first time EVER play in an NBA game. *Sigh.* It was so dreamy. The bad part was we were seated in a Pistons cheering section, so that kinda sucked, but luckily I have a loud mouth, which makes me obnoxious (according to George) so I was easily able to irritate the obnoxious fans sitting in front of us. The Wizzies lost it about halfway through the 4th quarter, though, and we ended up losing. But it was still a good game, and I had a blast being there with the G-man. (Not the guy who does backflips and slam dunks during timeouts, MY George. Only people who have been to a Wizards game will get that...) BOOOO to Kymmy for hexing the Wizards. That was not very nice of her. =P
Anywho, we left G's car here at work, so we had to take the metro back here and get it. I went through the turnstile just fine, but when it was G's turn, this girl behind him put in her card before he had touched his SmarTrip card and pushed him through, which means he didn't get registered in the system. A metro security officer watched this witchy girl do this (mind you, she then had to WAIT for the rest of her friends who hadn't even bought their farecards yet!!!) and then GEORGE is the one who got in trouble. I almost said a few choice words to the chick, but I refrained with difficulty. We got back to G's car and headed home, and this is where the other best part of my night happened, but I'm over it.
Anyway, George left around 12:45, and I went to bed around 1, which is probably why I'm a little tired this morning. Today I am going to mom and dad's house and then I am going to drop by volleyball again and see if it's still going on. Then I have to drop some stuff off for Jes since she left it at home because she really just wants an excuse to see me. I know her tricks. ;) Looks like another late night for Jen...
