thirst-day
Dec. 18th, 2003 11:58 amthat's my little play on words for Thursday. i have been sooo thirsty lately. i drink probably 10 bottles of water a day. it's a little ridiculous. last night, my parent's asked me if my doctor tested me for diabetes when i went to see her. great. what else could possibly go wrong with me? i would like to trade in my body for a new one, please. where's the line for that?
so far, today has been a much better day overall. chris came home last night for a few hours, and helped me sort through all the craziness that is the thoughts running through my head. so i have a much better outlook on things at the moment, which is always a good thing. also, i brought a humidifier back to my house last night from my parents and i don't feel as sick today as i have. i think it was too dry in my room and that was keeping me sick. so i had a good rest last night, which helps to give me a good outlook on the day. work has been not too bad-i assembled boxes for an hour this morning and got some other work done. i am slowly getting rid of all the gazillions of folders that are piling up on my desk. i managed to get rid of a file that is (i am not lying, i used a ruler and measured it) 5 INCHES thick.
the only bad part of the day so far was that i sneezed, and no one said "God bless you." now, i don't know what it is, but something about sneezing in a room full of people and no one saying "bless you" really just ticks me off. you know that scene in Dogma where Matt Damon kills all those executives in the board room after no one tells him "bless you"? yeah, i kinda feel like that. except for the mass execution part.
anyway, i am in a much better state of mind and am feeling better about things in general, so hopefully i'll stay that way. here's to 1 1/2 days left in the workweek.
