When someone yells at you or tells you something you don't want to hear just look them in the eye with an emotionless face, pause and say, "Hunh." The set up is really important for getting the full effect. While you are pausing an added twist would be to blink once or twice, just not rapidly and make sure you space the blinks out. You want them to walk away feeling that you know what they said had absolutely no importance or relevance to anything in life. Give them the idea that you think they just made the world a worse place by saying what they said.
