FABULOUS weekend!!
Oct. 31st, 2005 03:28 pmThis weekend rocked like no other.
Friday I had to work late, but that turned out to be not as bad as I would have thought. When I got home, Jes was there, so we had some fun family bonding time, too.
Saturday morning I was up bright and early and met G at the aiport, where we flew to Boston. We got our car and after getting SUPER lost (Boston road markers are confusing as all get out--and that's IF they exist in the first place) we made it to Andrew and Kristen's place, which is super cute. We grabbed lunch and then Andrew gave us a tour of Harvard while Kristen did some work. Oh yeah, and it was blizzarding while we did this. No joke. Thick, heavy, wet snow. It was COLD!! After about an hour we had had enough, so we headed back to get ready. G and I got all spiffy-ed up (and looked GOOD!) and then hopped in the car and headed to Providence, RI for Orlando's wedding. Christy looked absolutely GORGEOUS and Orlando looked pretty darn good in his tux! The bridesmaid dresses were beautiful and all the people there were so nice and fun! Their reception easily goes down as one of the Top 3 parties I have EVER been to. SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Sunday morning G and I woke up before Andrew and Kristen and goofed around and acted stupid until they got up. That was fun! After what should have been a quick lunch but turned into the most disasterous eating out experience I have ever had, we headed to the airport to fly home. My dad picked us up at BWI and we stopped and got Ledo's pizza for dinner. After pizza and yummy chocolate silk pie for dessert, G and I headed to youth group for the Halloween party, which was wild and crazy but fun! I took him home afterward and after almost falling asleep on his couch, I headed to Rockville. I was in bed by 11:45 and slept until my alarm went off at 9 this morning. I am STILl tired from this weekend, but happily tired, so it's all good!!
