Quick life update
Aug. 1st, 2005 11:16 amSO. Here's what's been going on with me.
Last week-Saturday to Wednesday-I went to Dewey Beach with G and a bunch of friends from college. It was a great time, except for the part where I got really sick (throwing up, sore throat, general feeling of crapness). My mom suggested that I drink more, since alcohol kills germies, but I was not feeling that at all. I didn't get sunburned at all, except for Tuesday, when G and I went to Ocean City and went fishing with some friends of my fam. I caught 3 croakers that I took home to Mom and she made for us for dinner.
My aunt, uncle, and cousins came into town on Friday, so I went home and spent Friday night and all day Saturday with them. On Sat. Jes and I took them into DC, and we did a TON. Native American museum, Air and Space, Natural History, Archives. Well, I didn't do the Archives because G met us downtown and he and I left early to go get some pizzas and make dinner for the rest of them. After dinner we went to Maggie Moo's and had THE BEST ice cream. EVER.
Sunday Jes and I metro-ed back downtown to church here and we saw Laura (my intern) preach and run the church service. She did awesome. Then it was back to Bowie for me for a youth group pool party. I think we're going to have a fun bunch this year. Then back to Rockville where G met up with me to move. I just went from the smaller bedroom to the master bedroom, but it was a lot of stuff to haul 10 feet! I have a ton of space and 3 more bookcases coming, so I'm a little excited about that. After we moved, I took G out for Chinese for helping me, then we went to Champions to see a bartending competition and play some darts.
Today I have 2 workshops in a row, and the best part is, I don't know how to do the workshops! It's this weird game and every time I've tried to do it, it has not come out right. Yeah, I am thrilled to be doing this today. After work, G might take me to look at a car, or if not, it's back home to organize my walk-in closet. Right now, you can't walk in it because there is so much CRAP on the floor.
Anyway, that's about all that's been going on with me. Good times, good times.
