It's been a good 24 hours so far...
Mar. 31st, 2005 12:49 pmI am really enjoying things in my life at the moment. Of course, I am CrAcKeD out on Diet Coke, but HEY IT MAKES LIFE MORE FUN AND INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!
Here's what's happened so far:
Yesterday at work was great. I did a whole lot of nothing, but I got it all done. As I was walking home, George called me. He had his little cousin George in the car with him and they were on their way up to Baltimore. They stopped by my house for some juice and a snack, and then were back on their way to Bmore. I saw littler George about a year and a half ago, and he's getting big! Cute kid. If he looks like his big cousin, he is going to be a KNOCK-OUT one day. (Of course, I might have a slightly skewed opinion on that... =P) Then I threw some overnight stuff together and headed to mom and dad's. I stopped in CP to see a sickly Jes on the way and spent about an hour with her. It was fun. I got home around 7:30 and had my leftovers from Macaroni Grill on Saturday. YUMMY.
The addition is looking SO good!! More pics put up later, but wow. I am totally impressed. When Mom and Dad got home, they showed me the downstairs part, which now has windows and duct work being done. I stayed up waaaaaay later than I should have and finally went to bed at their house around 12:30.
This morning, I woke up at 6 to get to the University of Maryland for an 8:00 class, where my board President had David as a guest speaker. This is an amazing feat for me, given that in 4 years of college, I not ONCE had an 8am class...yet I made it on time. (I mostly attribute that to driving 85 on Route 50 to get to College Park, but whatever.) After class--which rocked--I met up with my sleepyhead (aka George the Bigger) and we went to breakfast at the bagel place and it was super good. But I was way tired, so I got a Diet Coke, and hence, the jitters and generally spazoidalness. WoOoOoOoOoOooOoOooOO.
When I got to work, I checked my email, took care of everything on my to-do list, and then talked to Ashley about Rachy's wedding for like an hour. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!!!! I also had a story from Cohoon in my inbox, which was freakin HI-larious. Shout out to Cohoon. Fo shizzle. Today I am leaving early on a mission for my Secret Project, and then I am chillin at home tonight since Kymmy is on a cleaning mission for the weekend.
Gonna be a good weekend. I can feel it. Or maybe that's just the caffeine still....
