warning: this post is all whining. read at your own risk.
i feel extremely ill today. i could barely fall asleep last night because i was coughing so hard, and i seriously think i hurt a muscle in my back from my coughing spasms. i took some 4-hour cough medicine at 11:30, and finally drifted off to sleep sometime after midnight. 4 hours later, at 3:30, i woke myself up from coughing too hard, so i took some more meds, and spent the next hour again trying to fall asleep. i woke up this morning coughing and feeling sick to my stomach, i think from all the gross medicine i have been pumping into my body. i almost didn't make it on the metro today, but i managed to not puke on the train car. it was close, though. my eyes hurt so much that my contacts just burned, so i didn't even put them in today. one of the preschool teachers didn't recognize me with my glasses on. (probably because of what a HUGE NERD they make me look like!) i wouldn't even have come in today except that i am supposed to facilitate a discussion with my group and an advocacy group at 1:30 this afternoon. as soon as that is done, though, i am so out of here and heading home, where i can put on my jammies and cry myself to sleep.

you know, this is when i most miss living with you. because you would go out and buy me gatorade and chicken soup when i was sick. thanks for being such a good friend. =)
