David and I went to Fuddrucker's for lunch today and not only am I stuffed, but now I am sleepy from the turkey burger I had. *Yaaaaaaaaaaaawn* I seriously need a nap.

Other than that, today has been very productive and semi-eventful. I won't know until Sunday if one of my groups is over their numbers, but I'm not coming in on Sunday, which means a crazy busy Monday morning for me if they are. But it would be good for us to have that, so part of me wants it to happen. Also two of my volunteer coordinators are being total flakes on me, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Like I said...busy Monday!

Tonight's probably going to be pretty low-key for me. G has to study more (two exams a week from now=stress from now until then) and we're supposed to go to a party later but I don't know if he's changed his mind about that. Either way works for me. I'm guessing we'll end up getting together around 9ish. Hmmm...maybe that means I can go home and take a nap before I go out! SWEET!

I need to call my cousin and see if she's around this weekend, cuz I need to start painting her room. We're going to Harry Potter-fy it for her. I am really excited and I can't wait to get started!! I'm planning on taking some pictures, so we'll see how it turns out.

This means that I would be part Slytherin and every sorting test I've ever taken has had me as least likely Slyterin. The Hufflepuff is right on the mark, though. I'm a big ol' Hufflepuffle.

Slytherpuff
You're a Slytherpuff!: This is a rare combination
but those that are true Slytherpuffs are not
people you want to make your enemy. You take
loyalty very seriously and if someone gives you
their word you expect them to keep it. You
either project a cold exterior and have a heart
of gold inside or you seem all cuddly and nice
on the outside and you are ruthless on the
inside. People frequently underestimate you but
this usually suits your purpose. Whoever has
your loyalty is a very lucky person because you
will fight tooth and nail to protect them. You
have a protective streak and you like to
champion the underdog. In life, experience has
taught you that it's better not to be too
idealistic or expect to much of other people.
Still, deep inside you, you still have hope
that everything will always turn out for the
best. Your weakness is that sometimes you trust
blindly, follow without question and this can
lead you into trouble. With the loyalty of a
Hufflepuff and the ruthlessness of a Slytherin
you are a formidable person!

Hi, my name's Jen and I'm addicted to Harry Potter.

*Hi Jen!*

It started when I graduated college and took a 3 week road trip with my best friend. I ran out of books at the end of week one and she gave me Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone and the rest, as they say, is history. In the past two weeks, I have reread the fourth and fifth books and am now again halfway through the sixth book. Despite the fact that I have read the fifth book probably three or four times, I *again* SOBBED my way through the ending. I can't put the books down and not only that, but I actually TURN OFF THE TV in order to read instead. I can't get to bed at a decent time because I promise myself I will put the book down at the end of this chapter and then get sucked in and promise that the end of the next chapter will be the one where I go to bed, and then the next one, and then the next one, and the next thing I know, it's 1:00 am.

I have already blacked out November 18th and since I have to work that night, I made the group reschedule their arrival time since I told them I would be "unavailable after 7pm." Because we'll probably try to get tickets to a 9pm show and then camp out in line for a few hours.

For Christmas, my sister and I are decorating our godsister's bedroom in a Harry Potter theme. I have been working on the plans for WEEKS and I think I might be a tad more excited about this than she is. When my mom mentions that something in my sketches might not work, I am heartbroken and spend the next few days pouring over them, trying to figure out how to make it happen. (I am actually REALLY excited about doing this if you couldn't tell!!)

I know I'm probably not half as bad as some people out there, but in my world...it's pretty bad.

And my mom put down the first book after the first chapter because she refused to read a book about "a little boy who has to live in a cupboard."

So I borrowed HP4 from the Library (because it is a TRAVESTY that I don't own it) to reread it before the movie comes out.

Now, if you recall, there was an absolute UPROAR over Book 6 when Harry and Ginny get together and people were LIVID that Harry and Hermione didn't get together. But the thing is...in Goblet of Fire, it's RON and Hermione that get all snippy and pissed with each other when Hermione goes to the Yule Ball with Krum. Harry gets sad because Cho goes with Cedric, but he could really care less about Hermione.

So really...I don't get what all the drama was about.

Oh. My. LORD.

I finished Harry Potter last night--at 2 am, let me tell you how tired I am today--and it was....I have no words for what it was.

OH. MY. That's about all I can come up with to describe it.
